Seniors Ministry | Glorysiders

At Ten Mile Christian Church we have an active group of 50+ Seniors who call themselves, “The Glorysiders”. For nine months each year they meet at 10:00 AM on Wednesdays for Bible study, snacks, and fellowship.  Monthly potlucks and outings are a regular part of the Glorysider program.   Several of the members are active travelers with trips to the Mid-west, Israel, and Europe.  This is a wonderful program that should be on your “Bucket List.”  For more information about this ministry, please contact  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. In pursuit of this purpose, the Senior Adult Ministry emphasizes the following ministry areas:

• Facilitate the growth of senior adults toward Christian maturity and discipleship.
• Encourage participation of senior adults in TMC ministries and service opportunities.
• Provide fellowship opportunities geared to the interests of the group.
• Evangelize unchurched seniors and assimilate seniors within our congregation into the seniors ministry.

TMC Recognizes the following about Seniors:

• They have wisdom that is to be respected. Job 12:12
• They have productivity to be valued. Psalm 92:12-14
• They have a desire to continue learning and maturing in their faith. Titus 2:2-3
• They benefit from encouragement. Philippians 3:1-14
• Most need renewal and nurture to meet the challenges of aging. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
• Their faith is a great resource to the TMC body. Psalm 145:3-4

When: The Glorysiders are not meeting during the summer but will resume in September on Wednesdays at 10:00 AM.
