What is Baptism?
Here at Ten Mile, we believe....
Baptism by immersion symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and identifies you as a follower of Jesus. Scripture connects baptism to a cleansing and new start for those who surrender to Jesus as Lord.

"We were buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” - Romans 6:4

Every summer, our church family gathers at to celebrate baptisms in the river, a powerful and public declaration of faith in Jesus. It’s a joyful evening filled with worship, and community.

All are welcome to attend. Many bring picnic dinners, lawn chairs, and friends to enjoy the evening together. Whether you’re getting baptized or coming to support others, it’s a special time of celebration.
