TMC STAFF & ELDERS
But Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible,
but with God all things are possible."
Matthew 19:26
We want to see each and every person transformed in Christ.
What Are Elders?
Elders are volunteer servant-leaders within Ten Mile Christian. An elder’s role is to oversee the congregation in a pastoral/shepherd role, leading with wisdom, insight, counsel, and prayer.
How Long Do Elders Serve?
Elders serve for a term of 4 years. At the end of the 4 year term, an elder can be up for "re-elect". The process of selection includes nomination and a congregational review.
What is the difference between elders and pastors/staff?
Elders serve in a volunteer capacity and are not paid. They oversee big picture concerns and events happening in the church. They allow pastors and paid staff to run the day to day operations and ministry of the church.
