At Ten Mile Christian Church, we believe that no one should walk through life's challenges alone. Our Care Ministry exists to provide tangible support and compassionate care during times of change, hardship, and growth. Whether you're navigating grief, rebuilding after divorce, seeking recovery, or desiring deeper connection, we’re here to walk with you — wherever you are.

Prayer is one of the ways we care for one another. Our Prayer Ministry exists to faithfully lift up the needs of our church family, pray with those seeking encouragement, and create opportunities for people to encounter God through prayer.
Whether someone is walking through a difficult season, celebrating an answered prayer, or simply seeking wisdom, our prayer team is honored to stand alongside them.
Ways to Get Involved
Whether you feel called to pray with others, faithfully intercede behind the scenes, or continue growing in your own prayer life, there are several ways to get involved. We'd love to help you find a place to serve.
Prayer Room
Join our Prayer Room team on Sundays by serving during one of our worship services. Team members are available to pray with anyone who would like prayer before or after the service and faithfully intercede for our church throughout the morning.
Weekly Prayer Team
Receive a weekly prayer sheet by email containing requests submitted through Sunday Connection Cards and our website. Commit to praying for these needs throughout the week from wherever you are.
Special Prayer Opportunities
Throughout the year, we offer additional opportunities to grow in prayer and serve others, including prayer courses, discussion groups, and special events such as our Holy Week 24/7 Prayer Room.

You’re not meant to walk alone.
Pastoral Care is a confidential, one-to-one ministry of encouragement, compassionate listening, and prayer for people walking through difficult seasons of life. It offers Christ-centered support through trained caregivers who come alongside individuals with grace, patience, and hope.

Our pastors are always ready to care for people, especially in times of crisis, but some situations call for ongoing support beyond what a pastor can provide alone. Pastoral Care extends that ministry through trained caregivers who offer steady, prayerful, and compassionate support over time.

What To Expect
When meeting with a caregiver, a person can expect compassionate listening, prayer, encouragement, and a safe, confidential relationship. The brochure also describes caregivers as trained, patient, calm, faithful, and non-judgmental, with healthy boundaries and a Christ-centered approach to care.
