At Ten Mile Christian Church, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where friends of all abilities can experience the love of Christ. Our Special Needs Ministry is dedicated to providing support, community, and spiritual growth opportunities for individuals and families with needs.

We believe that every person is uniquely created by God and deserves to be fully included in the life of the church.

Inclusive Support
We provide personalized support to help individuals with special needs participate in worship and church activities, ensuring everyone can engage meaningfully in the life of the church safely and comfortably.

Sensory-Friendly Services
We offer services designed to accommodate individuals with sensory processing challenges. Our early morning 8:00 AM service features a quiet, calm environment to help make worship more accessible.

Additionally, a Sensory Room is available during the 9:30am, 11am, and 12:30 PM services on Sundays, providing a safe and comfortable space for all ages and all abilities who need a break from the main worship environment.

Adapted Bible Study (18+)

A bi-weekly gathering for adults with special needs and intellectual disabilities, this group provides a safe, fun, and welcoming environment to grow in faith. Participants will engage in Bible study, worship, prayer, and community-building activities. Caregivers are welcome to stay or drop off participants, with fellowship and respite available on site. Registration covers lunch, but scholarships are available—no one is turned away for financial reasons.

This women's group is dedicated to Moms and caregivers of special needs children and adults.
This group will usually meet every other week, at the same time as our Friends in Faith adaptive bible study group, but is open to all moms & caregivers of someone with special needs. Please note the calendar for meeting dates!
We hope that this group offers friendship & community as well as a safe space to share the highs and lows of SN caregiving, and grow our faith in the process.
Coffee and water will be served at each meeting, you are welcome to bring a snack or lunch to enjoy as well.

We look forward to meeting with you!

Night To Shine

Each year, Ten Mile is honored to host Night to Shine, a worldwide prom experience sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation for individuals with special needs, ages 14 and up. This unforgettable evening celebrates every guest with dancing, dinner, encouragement, and the crowning of each participant as king or queen of the prom. Night to Shine is more than an event—it’s a reflection of God’s love for each person.
