Recovery in Christ
Journey to Freedom is more than a program—it’s a supportive community where you can grow in authenticity, intimacy, and spiritual maturity. At the heart of this journey is learning to walk with God and with one another, carrying one another in prayer, and growing into the healthy, whole children of God you were created to be.

Women's 12-Step Groups
Women’s Journey to Freedom is a Christ-centered 12-Step group where you can honestly explore your story and discover God’s healing for the struggles and hurts you carry. In a supportive and confidential environment, women walk together toward restoration and freedom in Christ. This is a closed group that requires registration and is offered approximately twice a year.
Weekly Freedom Groups
Freedom Groups meet every Wednesday evening from 6:00–7:30 PM, and you’re always welcome to just show up—no registration needed. The night begins with dinner at 5:15, followed by a large group gathering at 6:00. At 6:30 we break into open share groups, and then close the evening with coffee and dessert at 7:30.

Men's 12- Step Groups
Men’s Journey to Freedom is a Christ-centered 12-Step group designed to help you face the wounds of your past and understand how they affect your life today. In a safe, confidential setting, you’ll walk alongside other men pursuing healing, wholeness, and freedom in Christ. This is a closed group that requires registration and is offered approximately twice a year.
Bring Journey to Freedom to your church!
Journey to Freedom isn’t just for TMC—it’s designed to equip churches everywhere to walk alongside people in recovery. Founder Ted Bertleson is developing a Christ-centered 12-Step curriculum that other churches can use to launch their own Freedom Groups. If your church is interested in offering Journey to Freedom, resources and training will be available soon.
