BeTMC is our call to live beyond the walls of Sunday services. It’s about letting God shape us through action, serving with purpose, and belonging to community. Getting connected in a group or serving along side others moves us all closer to Christ. When we serve and belong we don’t just go to church—we are the Church. BeTMC is an invitation to move with God and experience real transformation.
Steps to Serving
Serving is one of the best ways to grow in faith and community. It’s not about filling a role, but about stepping into the purpose God has for you. Here’s how to begin your journey into serving at TMC:
Step 1
Explore Opportunities
Click the button to learn more about available groups and serving roles. Whether you want to grow in community or use your gifts in ministry, there’s a place for you.
Step 2
Meeting with Leaders

Once you sign up, our team will reach out with details about the group or serving opportunity that best fits your interests. Certain ministries require background checks.
Step 3
Take a 90-Day Trial Step
Prayerfully consider where God may be leading you. Then, try serving in a ministry or joining a group for a 90-day trial period at your own pace. This gives you the chance to see how God is at work, and discover if it’s the right fit.

Where to Serve
Connections Ministry
Help create a warm, welcoming environment for everyone who walks through the doors. You can serve as a greeter, usher, café host, or in Next Steps—making people feel seen and at home.
Facility & Grounds
Help care for the church property so it can serve the mission. Roles include landscaping, maintenance, set-up/tear-down for events, or general repair projects.
Worship & Tech
Use your musical, creative, or technical gifts to lead the church in worship. Serve on stage as a vocalist or musician, or behind the scenes with sound, lighting, video, or livestream production.
Office & Admin
Support the day-to-day work of ministry behind the scenes. Opportunities include data entry, reception, mailings, and other administrative tasks.
Communications
Use creativity and media to share the mission of the church. Serve through photography, social media, writing, graphic design, or video storytelling.
