Ten Mile Christian History

Our
Story
Ten Mile Christian Church was founded on June 6, 1906. It was
originally named Meridian Christian Church and located at 1001 Meridian
Street. There, it coined the slogan the "Little church, with a big welcome." That same culture continues to this day.
In 1983, the congregation relocated to 2511 W. Cherry Lane and
renamed as Cherry Lane Christian. At Cherry Lane the church thrived and grew out of the space until it was time to find a new home again. The church relocated again in 2009 to the corner of Ten Mile and Franklin Road and took the name Ten Mile Christian Church.
